My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Raj, formerly known as Rags, come to us from a local shelter on his day of euthanasia. He was helped by a team of volunteer to be saved. He is about 10 years old, 95 lbs hound mix. He is sweet and gentle and thankful for a soft place to land with his foster. Raj is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and HW-.

He gets along well with dogs but should be fed separately to avoid any resource guarding. Raj sleeps well in his crate on his comfy bed and is just a generally laid back sweet ole guy. He also rides really well in cars and enjoys looking out at the scenery.

Neshama Rescue is an all volunteer independent, 501(c)(3) animal welfare and education organization. Our mission is to promote the rescue and adoption of companion animals, with a focus on senior and special needs pets. We believe every soul has intrinsic value and we seek to help communities see that value to create a kinder world. Our goals are to rescue animals from shelters, place them in loving foster homes, and adopt them out to forever homes, as well as strengthen our communities’ education, laws and regulations regarding animal overpopulation and care.
