Diesel was surrendered to our shelter when his owner had to move to Florida. The first day or two with us, Diesel was so very sad and unsure about where he was but then Diesel began to perk up and show us some personality. He has lived with kids of various ages and in a home with another dog. Diesel has not lived with cats or poultry/livestock before. Diesel has only had one family his entire life and he hopes that his next family will love and adore him for the rest of his life.

Franklin County Humane Society Inc. operates Planned Pethood Clinic, a low cost spay/neuter facility. Our mission is to stop pet overpopulation through spaying and neutering. We fundraise to subsidize the cost of the spay/neuter surgeries to keep prices as low as possible. Our Adoption Center provides a second chance for many wonderful animals.
