We are looking for a Cavalier savvy home for Tabitha. She has been let down more than once & we have vowed to find her the right home this time. In our program we can properly interview & vet the family looking to adopt. We can share information about her personality, her needs, what makes her happy, & what her perfect match family would look like. The cycle of being bounced around stops here for Tabitha. We are on a mission!

So, with that said, let’s talk about Tabitha! She is a doll! Even though she is 9 years old, she has received a very good health report for her age. At the time of her wellness exam, a low-grade murmur was heard, eyes are good, & her knees are good! She is mostly deaf but can hear different pitches. She was seen by a cardiologist for her low-grade murmur and she does not require any medication at this time.

She is an ace leash walker; so we aren’t requiring a fenced yard. Tabitha has enjoyed being outside enjoying the nice weather. She would love a good walk or a small secure area to sunbathe and take a nap. Tabitha joins everyone in the big bed to snooze the night away.

Tabitha is fully housetrained. She has not had a single accident while in foster care. Her foster mom has been diligent about using the same door & going out 2 or 3 times throughout the day. Tabitha has been known to bark to signal going outside.

Tabitha has been known to bark for many things. She’d like a treat, she’d like to sit with you, she’d like to go outside, she’d like to be fed dinner. She likes to communicate, but really, all she is asking is for you to be with her. She loves company! She loves children, adults, men, women, all her foster canine siblings. Big dogs, little dogs. Tabitha is a friend to all.

Please let us know if you have the perfect home to offer Tabitha by sending us an email. Gateway4paws@gmail.com
