Wayne is a cheerful and affectionate dog who listens and tries hard to please his humans. He is mellow, intelligent, and sweet-tempered. He is also friendly and playful around other dogs and cats, either in public place or indoor. He could be a little shy when around unfamiliar environment, but would easily befriend with strangers when offered with yummy treats. Wayne is very healthy; he is neutered and with up to date vaccinations. This sweet boy will melt your heart if you are willing to give him a second chance in life.
About Wayne’s rescue:
Wayne and his sibling were found by the rescuer on the suburban hiking trail. Judged by the cutting mark on their ears, a TNVR was recently performed, it meant that both puppies were neutered and released back to the wild. Sightings of poisonous snake were common in the area and it would be tough for puppies to survive in this environment. Besides, the wound on their ears were still fresh and needed some medical attention. It would be heart breaking for the rescuer to leave them behind, therefore she picked the puppies up and took them to the vet instead. Both puppies were treated for mild skin infection and went through a physical exam.
Due to the improper cutting on his ear, one of his ears is always pointing up and this has become his standing out feature!
