My story

Hi! My name is Dolly. Like my name, I guess you could call me a doll. I am cute and quiet. Sometimes you won’t even know that I’m there! Me being quiet is a result of my shyness. As a kitten, I didn’t receive much socialization, meaning, now that I am an older kitten, I have a hard time trusting new people and environments. My caretakers here at The Charming Cat Corner are very nice to me though, being patient with me as I slowly crawl out of my turtle shell and venture out to approach them. As I am slowly beginning to trust, I still comfort myself in the love of my kitty friends. I love to cuddle close with any cat that is near when I am scared or tired. Because of my personality, I would need to go to a home with a family that understands my boundaries and who will continue to work patiently with me to coax me out of my shell so that I can learn what “trust” truly means.
Do you think that you might be able to help me out of this shell? I’d love to meet you and hopefully begin to trust that you really love me too. I know one thing, and that is I really want a home, maybe that “home” can be with you!
