Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Noodle, a beautiful 5-month old Dachshund puppy, needs a new home because my daughter and her fiancé just found out they are going to have a baby. He's got a lot of energy as well as a very playful, happy personality. He likes cats although he will chase them unless told not to or he gets a swat across the nose.
He is mostly house-broken, well socialized, sits on command, and is very good with other dogs. His recall is better than my 2 dogs, who are much older, and he has started learning a few tricks already (roll over, shake). He figured out how to use the dog doors quickly and is mostly crate-trained, too.
Noodle does need to be in a house that has other dogs or where he will be kept occupied. He's very smart and will get bored easily otherwise, which would most likely lead to destructive play. He's entirely charming once he gets caught chewing on people things but re-directs to other activities well.
