Noemi is a loveable and cuddly 2-year-old Lab/Border Collie mix. She is incredibly friendly and playful and loves human connection. She is crate trained, house trained, and knows many different commands. She may bark at new visitors to get them to play but has been trained to stop and request pets nicely. She walks well on leash, though occasionally will pull. Squirrels and birds are her weakness, though her training has helped mitigate her response to the little friends. Her friendly and playful nature means she is likely too friendly and playful for a home with cats or small children. She loves nothing more than spending her days napping, sunbathing, cuddling, and playing. She would do best in a home where someone will be around most of the day. She is very intelligent, loves training, and can be very easily taught how to apply her training in a new environment. She is still young and has young dog energy, though she also loves to nap and cuddle, will need an opportunity to play/ run multiple times daily. She would love a fenced in backyard and/or daily dedicated exercise/playtime. She weighs 40 pounds and is full grown. Adoption fee is waived, but approval process is not. For dogs the $400 adoption fee is a donation that covers the spay/neuter, testing for Heartworm , intestinal parasites, and tick borne disease, age appropriate vaccines, Heartworm preventive, dewormer and flea and tick preventive.
For cats the $150 adoption fee is a donation that covers the cat having been altered, vaccinated (age appropriate), tested for feline leukemia and feline aids, dewormed, deflead and demited.
Our cats may not be declawed and must be indoor only.
