My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cooper is a 6 year old pure bred, AKC Yellow Labrador Retriever. Cooper joined our program after being found by family members in a home with his owner who had sadly passed away. Cooper is an active boy and will play ball all day long if given the chance. He loves other dogs and is friendly with humans of all ages. Cooper does have thunder storm anxiety so we are looking to place him in a home in the PNW where crazy crashing thunder storms aren't as much the norm as in S.E. Texas.

Go meet their pets

Most of the dogs in our program are located at our home-like facility outside of Houston. We do ask that adopters submit adoption applications prior to scheduling an appointment to visit.

More about this rescue

STLRR started nearly 20 years ago as a breed specific organization but has grown over the years to include any and all breeds, shapes and sizes. We happily adopt out to families in our local area and all across the United States and Vancouver, British Columbia.
