Here's what the humans have to say about me:
*CHARLIE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!**This adorable, sweet, scruffy face belongs to Charlie, a 1-year-old, 45-pound male mixed-breed pooch in search of a forever family. Charlie was rescued from an overburdened animal control facility in rural Kentucky and is now in a loving and nurturing foster home in Chicago, patiently waiting to meet you! Without a DNA test, we cannot say with certainty what his breed mix is, but judging by his appearance and characteristics, we think there is some Labrador, terrier, and possibly hound in his family tree. However, we can say with certainty that he is 100% sweetheart! Charlie loves children and is being fostered with two toddlers who he is fantastic with. He's calm, gentle, and tolerant with the children and is an ideal family dog. He loves to go for walks, sun himself in the yard, play fetch, and cuddle with his favorite humans. He is well-behaved in the home, crate trained, housebroken, and knows a few basic commands and tricks. He also does very well with other dogs. Charlie is just about perfect and we think he'll fit in easily with most households, come and meet him today!
Charlie is in a foster home on Chicago's northwest side and can be visited by appointment only after an adoption application has been completed and approved. His adoption fee to the rescue is $375. This fee helps to cover his neuter, initial vaccines, microchip, and heartworm testing. Unfortunately, we cannot place holds on our dogs for any reason. Please do not submit an adoption application unless you are ready to meet and welcome a dog into your home within three days of applying. For more information or to receive an application, email palsplace1@hotmail.com or visit palsplacerescue.org. Adoption applications and correspondence from the rescue may end up in your spam or junk folder. If you are waiting for our reply, please check those folders regularly.
