Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Cortana! We adopted her from the Humane Society in April 2023. She is roughly 10 months old. She is an extremely sweet, active, and curious dog. She wants to meet everyone, including our cats, who have not been able to adjust. She seems friendly towards the cats, but her enthusiasm has overwhelmed them, and it has not gotten better, even with slow introductions.
She would do best in a home that is able to allow her to roam freely (once trusted) and/or a yard. She also would likely do well with kids or adults that can play with her frequently, as she has a lot of energy!
Cortana loves: playing fetch, tug-of-war, peanut-butter snacks, jumping
Cortana has learned: sit, stay, leave it, focus, take it, and is potty trained by alerting us with a bell on the door. Some of these commands she does for short durations and we continue to work on them all.
Cortana struggles with: commands (down, lay), leash pulling, nibbling, digging - all of which we continue to work on
