Shasta is an incredibly sweet and family oriented dog. We adopted Shasta from SafeHaven ~5 years ago as an companion dog for our male Golden Retriever. She did so well with the kids when we visited and was so affectionate. She bonds strongly to her family and pack. She needs to have a fenced yard and will do best as a single dog, but can be acclimated slowly to another dog. She is kennel trained and is great with playing fetch. She knows her basic commands like "sit", "lie down", "drop it" etc. She has some leash aggression that could be worked on. Her ideal environment is laying on the couch close to her human, having her belly rubbed.
