Hi my name is Maxine “Max” for short! I am approximately 16 weeks old and weigh 22 pounds. My people think I may be a Pointer mix. I am a beautiful girl with my white spots.
I am very loving and cuddly. I am all about the kisses. I am friendly with everyone I meet. No warm up period needed. It’s instantaneous love on my part.
I am dog friendly and would do well in a home with another pup. It’s not a must I just want you to know I get along. I am in a foster home with other dogs and we love to romp and play.
I came into rescue after I was found wandering around a deer lease with a really bad skin infection. I had a lot of hair missing. Thank goodness someone chose to help me. I have blossomed and am all well now. I am such a beautiful girl.
I am house trained and crate trained. I love to be out and about. I have never been cat tested, so my people are going to say no to a home with furry felines.
I am very smart and quick to learn.
Note: The above bio on the dog reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. We provide adopters current information on our dogs; we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners. Since they are rescue dogs we guess breed of looks.
Our adoption fees vary, according to species, size, age and other issues. Discounts apply in some cases. Our adoption fee covers dewormed, heartworm tested (if over 6 months), started on heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, vaccinated for bordetella, dhppv, rabies (if age appropriate) and microchipped as well as spay/neuter at our preapproved vets. All puppies not altered due to age will under a foster to adopt contract until completed and an additional deposit of $100 will be required- deposit will be refunded upon completion of surgery.
We expect our dogs to be adopted by families who understand- these are rescue dogs, they will need time to decompress, routine and stability. We put our lives into saving these dogs- we expect their new families to be prepared for a lifetime commitment before applying- dogs are not recyclable.
Please do not send an email inquiring about a dog. Please fill out the adoption application found at https://www.rangersreach.org/ We are 100% volunteer ran we try as hard as we can to get through applications as fast as possible. If we spend all our time answering inquires and emails, we have no time to look over applications. Please do not apply until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. We do not hold dogs for any reason. We do try to be fair and go in the order applications are received. If no response, decision or adoption is made we must move on to the next application. Applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will receive that dog.
WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE HAVE NO BRICK AND MORTAR LOCATION-- WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE, ALL DOGS ARE IN PRIVATE FOSTER HOMES.
If we if we think your home might be a good fit, we will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application. We do check references, use social media, been verified, do phone interview/emails, and home check will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog.
