My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Brisket
Breed: Rottweiler Mix (Best Guess)
Age/Sex: ~2021 M (will be neutered by rescue)
Known Health Issues: None at this time.
Good with: Dogs! Kids! Cats (probably with proper training!)

What a gem of a boy! Brisket is young, handsome, and a super smoosh, what more could you ask for?

Brisket is a very social, and outgoing boy. The only stranger is a friend he hasn't met yet. And if you have something yummy, his attention is undivided ;) He's up for cuddles and belly rubs, and does everything with exuberance!

Brisket is working on his confidence with other dogs. He is a bit intimidated by then, but wants to be friends. This insecurity can cause some reactivity on leash, but he's working hard on good boy behaviours. He has had successful neutral introductions to several dogs while at Inugoya, and done very well. He's starting to want to initiate play, and with the right pack, I have every confidence he'll be friends in no time.

Based on his temperament, and interactions with the puppies here, he should be just fine with cats, with proper training. He's got a playful personality, so making sure guidance is there, to prevent any oopses while they get to know each other is key. Slow and steady for the win!

Brisket has had some exposure to kids while in rescue, and has done very well. He is large, and boisterous, so again training is needed to enforce personal space and boundaries. If your children, or yourself will get upset if he bowls them over he's not the dog for you.

Brisket is working hard on lifeskills, and is well started on crate training and leash walking. His adoptive family will need to continue to work on his training, so that he can become the best version of himself!

Brisket is a fun loving, young man, who's going to be an amazing addition to a lucky family. If he sounds like the one for you, please email InugoyaAdoptions@outlook.com for an application!
