Meet Saturn!

Saturn was found abandoned in rural GA, just dumped in the woods with his mom and five of his siblings last year. We thought we had Saturn placed in his forever home, but he was just surrendered back to Whiskers Fund. We are again on the search for what we hope will be his forever FOREVER home.

Saturn is still young and learning. He really needs someone willing to be his pack leader and he needs socialization. He would benefit greatly from basic puppy classes!

Saturn is a small boy of only about 20 pounds! He is a HUGE cuddle bug and really loves to snuggle! He enjoys taking naps, giving hugs and hanging out on your lap! Saturn thinks playing fetch is wicked awesome and he loves going for walks. He's not a super big fan of the heat and likes to be inside! He loves toys, especially soft, squishy ones that he can chew on! This boy is smart too! He has mastered sit, down, paw and Hi-Five! Car rides are not his favorite thing in the world, but he will tolerate them. He won't want to be your travel around the world buddy, but short trips to get pup cups are super cool!

Saturn really loves other dogs and would enjoy having a buddy, so if you are interested in adopting two, I'm sure we can help you out there too... wink, wink! He's done really well at doggie daycare and in play groups! He also lived with a cat and did fine! He's good with kids, but we think he would do best in a home with older kiddos!

If you think you are the right home for him, please apply to adopt here:

All of our animals are fully vetted before going to their furever homes. They are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, dewormed, up to date on flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention, and microchipped!

The adoption fee is $550.

We do not accept deposits or the adoption fee until you have your new fur-members.

Please Note: All animals are posted until they are officially adopted. This animal may have other interested adopters in line.

We are very quick to respond and process applications! You will be required to provide 2 non family personal references, a home video tour and a vet reference if you’ve previously had animals. Please feel free to send video to our email or facebook upon submitting an application, this lets us know you are serious and ready but also helps us to get you approved quickly. We will text and or call upon receiving your application to schedule a phone interview.

You must be an approved adopter in order to go on meet and greets. This saves everyone’s time- especially our gracious foster families! This also allows for you to take the animals home from the meet and greet if you so choose.

Interested in fostering? We would love to have you join our family! Fill out the same application above- we have our fosters go through the same process as adopters!

Questions? Please email whiskersfunds@gmail.com or message us on facebook!
