Hello, my name is Ringo.
I may not be a Beatle but I am a Starr.
Because I’m the cutest little Aussie by far!
I turn heads wherever I go,
And I’m always ready to put on a show.
One day while I was minding my own business,
This guy in a truck caught me and took me to doggy jail.
Well I was pretty sad in there as you might guess,
Until along comes this Border Collie lady who didn’t even care that I didn’t have a tail.
She had a kind voice and a nice smile, she patted me on my back
And said come home with me and stay for a while and be part of our pack.
So that’s what I did. I live with 4 Borders Collies, 1 Pomeranian, and 2 cats.
I get along with all my canine pack large and small.
But not the cats we don’t like each other at all!
They taught me all the things that a good dog should know.
I love this pack and the humans too but they tell me I am ready to go
Mom will help me find my own home and a pack that’s all mine
Where I can stay and be loved for all time.
Ringo is approximately 14 months old and appears to be an Australian Shepherd. He is neutered, up to date on all his vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped. The best home for Ringo would be one with no cats. He gets along well with dogs and loves people both men and women. He has had limited exposure to children since coming into foster but has done well with the few he has interacted with. He is crate trained, house trained, uses a dog door and will sit nicely on command. Come and stay are still a work in progress but he is young and very eager to learn. He is very treat motivated which makes him easy to train. He walks well on a leash once he settles down until then he does pull and jump so will need more work in that area.
