This is Oreo and she is a beautiful adult mixed breed who is looking for a safe place to call home. Oreo came from some unfortunate circumstances and now needs to look for a new owner. She is our longest resident. She has been here at the shelter for 100 days! She gives her heart to one person at a time and would do best in a home with few visitors and adults only. She is a very happy and outgoing girl who loves to go on walks. Come in to meet our furry friends and start a connection.

Submit Application

Go through our application and fill it out.

Approve Application

Our team then goes over the application to look for qualifying details. If it's a good fit we ask you to return.

Pay Fee

Pay the appropriate fee for the animal you are adopting.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

Sign and answer any questions you may have with our binding contracts.

6.
Take the Pet Home

Take your new furry friend home!

We ask that you give us at LEAST 24 hours to review your application. We take the information very seriously, we have the right to deny any application for any reason.

The Jackson County Animal Shelter is a facility that is County ran. We server our county here in Wisconsin rain or shine. We primarily have cats and dogs but do get some small animals in. We try to find each animal that comes through our doors a happily ever after, no matter how long it takes.
