Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sophia, my 7-year old black Labrador retriever! She has been part of the family since she was a puppy.
After my divorce, I had to take a new job that requires me to travel often, so unfortunately I won't be able to keep her. I start in 2 weeks and really need to find her a home as soon as possible, or I'll unfortunately have to take her a nearby shelter.
She grew up around young children and babies, gets along great with other animals (cats and dogs), and is pretty low maintenance overall.
She is house trained, kennel trained, and knows some commands and tricks (Sit, stay, lay down, shake) She has also been trained to learn when I snap my fingers, it means stop whatever she's doing or come to me.
She's very much an indoor dog, goes outside to do her business but then wants to come back inside. She does look going for walks around the neighborhood though, and I usually I don't use a leash - she just stays 15ft or so ahead of me.
