My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Storm is here! He is a 2 year old male mini Australian Shepherd who weighs 42 lbs. He is a breeder release pup who is used to having a job, so he's still learning what it's like to be a beloved member of the family and have his freedom. 

Storm is already house and crate trained, and he will need a secure fenced yard to contain his energy. He is friendly and good with dogs and cats, while still learning to share his person's attention with other people. He will thrive with a canine companion in the home to play and love on.

His foster mom shared: Storm has made lots of progress. He is a little shy but has warmed up quite a bit, and is starting to play more and more each day. Loves tug of war, soft and hard toys. He will play until he falls asleep. He has not tried to jump up on the furniture yet, but loves for you to sit with him or will sit at your feet. 

Storm is on the lookout for an adopter who has experience with the active breeds as well as shy dogs - he will blossom with love, patience, and plenty of activity. Kids over the age of 8 years will be best for him. Make Storm happy in your home and apply today!

His minimum adoption fee is $400 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
