Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Born on Aug 2, 2022. He was born deaf, and was rescued from ACD breeders who were going to send him to shelter. Although he is deaf, he is lovable & playful & has learned hand signals for sit, down, and stay. He is a cattle dog, so he can be stubborn, but he has trained a bit with a vibration collar as well. He is typically on a long leash, due to having no recall. He is very fearful of cars and strangers. He will bark at strangers and has attempted to bite strangers. He has not bitten anyone yet, but has attempted to strangers. He will need to be able to kept away from strangers until you can introduce slowly. Once he gets to know you he is absolutely the sweetest dog & loves to cuddle. He has warmed up to people before, and greets them very sweetly once he knows them! He is very submissive to dogs he knows, but strange dogs do cause him fear and anxiety. Because he is deaf and very reactive, he is better suited for someone who is experienced with dogs & lives in a rural location.
