Vailente’s here, ready and available to provide all the entertainment you’d ever need! He’s very silly and playful. Just give him access to a toy or two – that’s all he needs! You don’t even have to play with him, though he always appreciates an audience. This goofball will toss those toys around all by himself! His playful streak gives him a higher energy level at times, but he also enjoys being pet. He’s friendly and independent, all at the same time. He’s always such a happy boy! He was previously fostered short term in a home with cats and he enjoyed playing with the cats...but the cats did not! Lol We did learn that he is mostly potty trained and gets along well with older children as well.

Our regular adoption fee is $100 payable by money order or credit card. The fee covers basic vaccinations, Rabies vaccination, microchip, heart worm testing for dogs, and the spay/neuter surgery.

You will be required to sign to an adoption contract and other paperwork relating to the adoption of your new family member.

Our kennel hours are Monday-Friday 10 am to 4 pm and Wednesday 5 pm to 7 pm. We are also open on Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm.

More about this shelter

We are an open admission, municipal shelter serving the unincorporated area of Fort Bend County, TX.

We are the county's rabies control authority as well as being their animal shelter. On average, we take in approximately 4,000-5,000 pets per year.

The staff at FBCAS is small but each and every one of us is dedicated to making the stay of the pets in our care as comfortable as possible. Our hearts are in this and with every pet that crosses our threshold.

We are part of the amazing Fort Bend County community and we are always striving to work with our community people and partners to make our shelter the best it can be.

We can always use new volunteers to help us keep our pets happy and healthy while they wait for their forever home.
