My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

“GULP needs a loving home…and a new name!  When I started fostering Gulp he was a real scaredy cat.  He’d run away from you and hide from strangers.  But after lots of love, play and treats, Gulp is a chirping, snuggling, playful lovebug who will follow you from room to room and jump on your lap throughout the day.  He loves to sit on or near you at the end of the day and watch tv.  He loves pets and chin scritches.  He gets along with one of my cats - my other one is a prima donna who doesn’t like anyone.   He would be a good cat for anyone - either adults or a family - experienced or first time cat owner.   He is very food motivated as well.  And he loves wands, springs and toy mice.  This sweet boy should be renamed NUZZLE!”

More about this rescue

Puppy Kitty NYC was founded in the Fall of 2014. As of July 2018, we are an official 501(c)(3) organization. We focus on three aspects: First, finding homes for abandoned or friendly street cats and kittens. Secondly, attempting to control animal overpopulation by spaying and neutering feral cats and helping the sick and injured. Thirdly, fostering is a must.
