Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Duke came to us, like I suspect many dogs find their way into a family. My kid brought him home. And my heart melted. But we already have a dog and as a full time single mom to two kids, and a demanding job, I knew I couldn't give this big guy the life he deserves. Since he turned 1 in May and got fixed last month I feel like he's set up for success and ready to be loved by an active family that takes him on hikes on the weekend and walks or runs on the weekdays. He's surprisingly calm for his age but never tires out. Duke is a pleaser and will do anything for hugs or treats. He learned basic commands insanely fast. He get's along with our pitty and when the hamster got out of his ball, he just watched him with curiosity. Duke is a lover and wants to be a lap dog but at 98 pounds and boney elbows, it's not always comfortable. He's a little timid with new situations but once he figures out it's safe, he's good to go. The rehoming fee includes his crate and all his blankets, toys, etc.
