Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Maia, and I’m coming all the way from Puerto Rico to meet my furever family in the PNW. I thought I’d tell you a little about myself, as well as what some of the humans say about me.
I have two brothers that currently live with me, but my humans say I’m ready to be spoiled in my own home. I don’t know exactly what that means, but they cuddle me and make cooing sounds when we talk about it, so I think it must be pretty cool. I am the most shy of the litter, and it takes me a moment to warm up to new people… You guys are BIG. But, I always like to be held and will casually sneak up to check you out when I think you are not looking. They say I have "soulful eyes". Like most puppies, I like to rassle and I tend to beat the boys (don’t tell them that, or they will gang up on me next match!) My humans say my coat has the most wonderful swirls of colors - that’s because I’m a true Sato! I’ve got a little bit of everything in me, but for size reference, my mom was just over 20 lbs and I currently weigh about 9 lbs. Because Dad is a mystery, my care team believes I will be medium/small when fully grown.
If I sound like a doggie that would fit into your family, please apply today! My team will then coordinate a Flight Angel to take me to your state, where we’ll meet up with you in the baggage claim. Because we rely on volunteer Flight Angels, sometimes planes arrive at weird times but the humans will do their best. It is a requirement to meet me at the airport to complete the adoption, so if this is a deal breaker for you, please apply for another puppy.
