Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Corgi lovers! Meet Betty!
This beautiful little girl was part of a hoarding case, but now is in a foster home. She has had a hard beginning, but is slowly learning to trust.
Betty is estimated to be 2 years old. She's good with dogs, very sweet, but she's a bit fearful and will need an experienced and committed adopter in a calm and loving home to teach her she's safe, and that the world is good. She's being fully vetted as we speak.
Betty isn't an official SDR dog, but we're helping her rescuers place her.
Remember she's very undersocialized, having been rescued from a hoarding situation. She really needs to be with other dogs for comfort, and she needs to be with someone willing to work with a very undersocialized but sweet dog. This means going very slow and being open to learning; also having an escape-proof fenced yard and a confident resident dog for her to hang out with.
For more info and/or to apply to adopt Betty, send us an email at SummitDogRescue@gmail.com, telling us a bit about yourself, your home environment and your lifestyle. A volunteer will get back to you shortly. Note that Betty will be adopted through her rescuers, not SDR. Thanks.
