Chloe came to us from the Stockton Shelter with significant injuries from being hit by a car. Her pelvis, tail and rear leg hock were all fractured. The pelvis fracture was well aligned and healing on its own. The tail was deem “dead” and needed to be amputated. Her rear hock fracture was repaired by the surgeon, but she will likely have a slight limp on that leg.
In addition to her injuries, she was somewhat under socialized for being so young. However, within a couple weeks she warmed up to her foster family. Timidness aside, she is a sweet loving young dog and get along with everyone. She wants to play and bond with other dogs. She needs a forever home with another playful young dog her size.
Please note that we don’t adopt any of our dogs out to homes with children under the age of 13.

We specialize in "hard to place dogs" due to their breed, age, minor behavioral or medical conditions. We strive to keep our fees reasonable ($125), and we have sponsorship funds to help with fees, if needed.
After the application is approved, the prospective adopter must take the dog on a trial-basis "sleepover" for a few days, before finalizing the adoption.
We require landlord approval if the applicant is renting their living space.
We only do adoptions in San Francisco Bay Area and surrounding regions.
We DO NOT adopt to families with children under the age of 13.
