Take the Pet Home
This helps St. Sophia's Forgotten Felines with pet care costs.
Hi! My name is Phoebe. I am around 2 years old. When I started my journey at St. Sophia's, I came in with my 6 babies after being found under someone's deck. I had a bad reaction to my initial vaccine, twisted my back, herniated a disc and I was paralyzed waist down for roughly 6 months. I had to undergo acupuncture, chiropractic adjustments, steroid therapy and much more to learn to walk again. I can move around now like nothing ever happened, and can often be seen perching up high -- I'll even run on the cat wheel at the shelter!
I really love my cat friends but I’m unsure about humans at first (I’m sure you can relate) it does take me a little while to warm up but once I know, I can trust you I know that we can be best friends. I really do want attention its just shelter are so scary. I would love a home of my own to settle into so I can come out of my shell and get all the love I deserve. I do extremely well with other pets. I would be fine with older kids who know how to respect a kitty's space. Come meet me today!
Phoebe is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, treated for parasites, and combo-tested negative for FIV/Leuk. Her adoption fee is $125. For more information, please call or text 847-773-7639 or email info.stsff@gmail.com. Please note: We cannot hold cats for any reason. Please do not apply unless you are ready to meet and welcome a new companion into your home within 3-5 days of applying.
