Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Good news 7/13/23! Snow White’s mammary tumor biopsy came back and both were benign! She’s healed nicely and is ready for her forever home. Email njwoof@cs.com to meet her by appointment
Meet Snow White, the 3 year old sweet healthy beautiful boy spayed schnauzer… or so we were told 🤦♀️. Her previous owners and their family members were a bit confused…
SHE is actually a 7-8 year old beautiful GIRL cockapoo. She was NOT spayed when we got her and suffering from a potentially emerging pyometra, which could have been deadly had she not been spayed when she did. She also had a mammary mass as a result of not being spayed, which we had removed as well (biopsy pending). Her ears are thickened from years of chronic untreated infections that we are working on getting under control. The one thing they got right is she is a very SWEET girl, good with other dogs, calm and well-mannered and fits right into just about any routine. She’s a bigger cockapoo, about 30lbs full grown, and came to us because her elderly owners couldn’t care for her any longer. Her face always makes her look sad but she’s not a sad dog, always wagging her tail and ready for whatever activity you have planned for her.
Email njwoof@cs.com to meet Snow White in Northern NJ. She’s ready to leave the 7 dwarfs (doxies;) in her foster behind and find a forever home
Since COVID-19, we are no longer holding our Sunday adoption events until further notice, but we are scheduling meet and greet appointments with a specific dog or dogs at our meeting spots in Northern NJ. To streamline adoptions, all communication before, during, and after the adoption process is done through email only: we have limited volunteers able to return phone calls. Submit an application from our website www.secondchance.petfinder.com to speed up the adoption process and email any questions to us at njwoof@cs.com. Please check your email regularly for next steps. All our dogs reside in foster care in Northern NJ until adoption and we do not have a central shelter location. We are a small all-volunteer organization focused on rescuing local dogs from area shelters, as well as accepting some surrenders and puppy mill rescues.
