Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We got Red as a puppy from a breeder for our middle daughter just after our youngest was born. We did not do any professional training, but despite this, Red is a well behaved dog. Strengths: listens to adults, when he zooms around the yard or house he is so fun, and has mellowed out of puppy stage. Weaknesses: does not listen to our kids, steals food off the counter if forgotten, gets extremely anxious when in closed spaces so cannot be crated or kenneled. Why we are rehoming: while my middle was home alone, she dropped some gravy and tried to get it at the same time Red reached it. He growled and bit her arm to keep the gravy. He did not break skin, nor has he shown any aggressive behavior since. He is a good dog, but cannot stay here with her in good conscience. He also needs experienced owners with teens, if any children.
