Silly is a Chiweenie that came from a severe hoarding situation. Poor Silly didn't even have a name until we rescued him and one of our teenage volunteers gave him his name, Silly loves to play and be loved on. Silly does have what we call a reactive personality. For that reason we are saying he needs to go to an experienced home where he can learn and thrive. Silly is really good with teenagers but has never met a small child. Silly is good with dogs as long as dont get in his face or growl at him. Silly is utd on shots and is neutered. With time, love and some patience, Silly will be a wonderful addition to any family. 2nd Chance Animal Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 Non-profit rescue organization. All of our animals come fully vetted which includes vaccinations, spay/neuter as well as Heartworm and flea/tick prevention. We can also arrange transportation to your location within 500 miles of our sanctuary in Hayden, Alabama if necessary. The additional charge of $35 (health certificate required for out of state travel) plus a .50 cents per mile charge to your location. This will be calculated on an individual basis should you need this option and you will be given the total prior to finalization of the adoption process. There is a Non-Refundable $100.00 deposit that will be required in order to secure a place on a transport. The $100.00 deposit will be deducted from the balance owed at the time of the adoption. Deposits and fees can be paid via PayPal, Venmo, or Cash. All balances must be paid in full at the time of the dog's arrival to you. We look forward to helping you find your family's new Baby! We rescue from high-kill shelters as well as the needy animal found wandering the streets. We fully vet and spay/neuter all of our pets PRIOR to placement in wonderful forever homes. We have a strict application process that includes a home visit. We have to make sure that we get it right because our babies are lucky to get a "2nd Chance" and they might not get a 3rd.
