Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Theo, the wise and sweet-natured feline with a heart full of curiosity and a hint of mischief! Theo and his brothers, Speck and Ash, were discovered in an abandoned house in a neighborhood southwest of Chicago, but this adventurous trio is now ready to embark on a new chapter in their lives. Among the brothers, Theo is the mature and thoughtful eldest brother, taking his time to warm up to new faces. But once he feels comfortable with you, get ready for a purr-fectly delightful experience! Theo absolutely adores belly rubs and will let out a symphony of purrs to express his contentment.
As a kitten, Theo has plenty of energy, but he's not one to compete for the spotlight. He enjoys wrestling with his brothers, but when it's time for a catnap, he's the first to find a cozy spot in his beloved cat tree. One of Theo's charming quirks is his fascination with running water – he'll sit in awe, observing his foster mom brushing her teeth with utter fascination! Not to mention, anyone who visits his foster home notes what a beautiful cat he is.
Theo is seeking a forever home that understands the value of patience and respect for his unique personality. He's come a long way in his foster home, making great strides in socializing and learning to trust people. All he needs now is a loving family who will give him the time and space he needs to flourish. If you're ready to embrace a cat who will reward your kindness with unwavering affection, Theo might just be the perfect match for you. Let him show you the depths of his love and in return, you'll have a loyal and cherished companion for life!
***We are hoping to place this sweet kittie with his brother, Speck so that he can have a companion in his forever home.***

CCR adopts to forever homes in Chicago or the very near suburbs that are within 10 miles of our Chicago foster families. We love our cats and we pledge support for the rest of their lives, which is why our location limits are in place. We appreciate your understanding. If you are outside of these limits, please check petfinder.com, which allows searching by zip code, for cats closer to your home.
At Chicago Cat Rescue, we are dedicated to both the physical and emotional well-being of the cats and kittens in our care. For this reason, unless expressly stated, we do not place cats or kittens in homes where they will be the only cat. Generally, cats love the company of other cats, and can become quite lonely when living alone.
Kittens will only be placed in pairs, or to join another kitten or young cat in your home.
Chicago Cat Rescue is an entirely foster-based organization. Our ability to help more cats in need is dependent on our availability of foster homes. If you think you could provide a loving foster situation for a cat in need, or would like to learn more about our foster program, please email us, info@chicagocatrescue.org. Thank you!
