Meet Pedro, an adorable boy in search of his forever home! Pedro is currently being fostered in Danbury, North Carolina, but don't worry about the distance because easy, affordable transportation is available to bring him to his new family. This sweet pup was surrendered to our dog rescue because his previous owner had too many dogs to care for properly.
Pedro has already been neutered, and he is up to date on his rabies and DHPP vaccines. He has also tested negative for heartworms. He is one year old and weighs 16 pounds. Pedro gets along well with other dogs and is comfortable around children. We are not certain if he has been exposed to cats. He loves to play with his toys and the other dogs in his foster home (all ages and sizes). Pedro has a happy and loving personality, and he thoroughly enjoys snuggling and being held. He is always up for a car ride and walks on a leash. In fact, he can even walk on his hind legs if you offer him a tasty treat! Pedro has no trouble navigating stairs and has already claimed the role of the foster's sleeping companion, often beating them to bed.
Pedro has a medium energy level. He is a quiet and well-behaved pooch who doesn't bark excessively. His love for humans knows no bounds, and he is always ready to shower his family with affection.
