Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This incredibly sweet girl is Fiona, who came to us recently from Turkey. As a puppy she was chained in a filthy yard and basically ignored. Thankfully that is all a distant memory, and she has never looked back! Fiona is a petite little girl at approx 40 lbs and 1 1/2 years old. Fiona is ready to find her forever family who appreciate her adorableness. :)
Fiona can be best described as a gentle, loving, quiet and cuddly. She absolutely craves human attention, and loves giving hugs. She has moderate energy and is up for anything…long walks, hikes, running errands, visiting friends, or new adventures.
She can be a little shy initially when meeting new people, but it only takes a few seconds for her to warm up. She does great with other dogs, and would do best with the companionship of a balanced dog in her forever home. From her humans she needs affection, lots of petting, and of course hugs. She is a velcro pup for sure and prefers to be close to her people.
Fiona has excellent house manners. She is not destructive and hasn’t had any potty accidents while in foster care. She would do best with a fenced yard to do her ‘business.’ She is just as happy to lounge with her people and chew on a bone, or go for walks and adventuring. She’s a very versatile little girl.
Fiona is an incredibly special girl who needs an equally special family that appreciates all her wonderful qualities. If you think Fiona is ‘the’ one for you, please complete our adoption application. Questions can be directed to nancy@roversretreat.org
