Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dixie is an approximately 4 month old chiweenie. She's in foster with 2 wonderful dog trainers and a lot of other dogs. She’s an adventure girl at heart. She is slowly warming up to cuddles and love and has figured out that treats are awesome. She’s definitely an independent spirit and loves to explore. She gets along with everyone & is such a smart girl. Dixie is very sweet once she gets to know you but it’ll take some time to earn her trust. She’d be a great little adventure buddy if you're into hiking or doing things outdoors.
Pros Dixie:
Brave explorer. She’d be great little adventure buddy for outdoor adventures
Gets along great with dogs of all sizes, so presumably cats as well
Smart girl and enjoys training
Walks pretty well on leash
Easy to groom (wash & clip nails)
Crate trained & mostly potty trained
Cons Dixie:
Takes some time to warm up to people. We wouldn’t recommend her for households with small children just because she wouldn’t enjoy the extra attention.
Can be an escape artist if not supervised properly.
Typical of the breed, can be an alarm barker.
If you're interested in meeting Dixie, please fill out an adoption application on our website www.wallflowersshine.com/application.
Dixie is located in the Portland area.
