Meet Tywin, a charming 3-year-old golden companion with a heart as golden as his fur. Rescued from the streets, Tywin is a sweet soul who adores walks, car rides, and the simple joys of life. His beautiful gold coat is only matched by his friendly nature. Inside the house, Tywin is the epitome of perfection-well-behaved, not food aggressive, and skilled in tricks like sitting, shaking, and lying down. One of his quirks? An absolute fascination with squirrels that adds a playful touch to his personality. Tywin, a stray turned sweetheart, is ready to bring job and warmth to his forever home.
Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and are scheduling individual adoptions in the Waynesboro, VA area during the pandemic. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
