My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Delilah is a 6.5 month old, 25 lb Standard Poodle puppy. She is a little shy at first but warms up quickly, and once she does, she is very friendly and loving.

Even though she is shy, there is a big part of her that is very excited to say hello and make a new friend. She is a small dog in a large dog body. She wants to get in your lap and cuddle, and she can’t stand to not jump up and say hello. She would be happy to be loved on and petted all day long.

She loves toys and playing, but she is slow to play with other dogs and requires time to warm up before she is willing to play. She has been around kids 8 and up and does well. She is crate trained but is currently crated with her brother, so it could be different when she is crated alone. She is doing a good job with her house training and seems to go to the door when she would like to go out. She loves to greet everyone by jumping up, so she will need more work on that, as well as leash training and counter surfing.
