My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Reno came to us out of the local shelter. He had a big tumor on his chest, and a severe eye infection. He has since been fully vetted and neutered. The eye infection has cleared, but Reno does have chronic dry eye that will require lifelong medication. Reno's eye sight is compromised, he can see, but has a tendency to bump into things. He doesnt let it slow him down when it comes to playing with the other dogs.

More about this rescue

We are a small Bully Breed Rescue & Sanctuary located in Reedley, California.

We are about a half hour from larger towns like Visalia/Fresno.

We are a "mom & pop" style operation with no giant facility or staff, just a husband and wife team, taking care of a large pack of dogs on our country property.

We provide all of the dogs in our care with a home environment as opposed to a shelter experience.

We do kennel our dogs (their kennels have recliners in them, so they dont mind going in there) when they are unsupervised, but they all receive a bare minimum of 2 yard sessions a day.

One benefit of the kennels is that all the dogs that we adopt out are very familiar with their kennels/crates, so they will generally be crate trained even prior to being adopted.

We started this rescue because we saw so many dogs in need in our area, especially bullies, and we decided to commit the necessary time and resources to try and help as many of them as we can.

It's a small operation, and we can't save every dog, but we sure to enjoy saving the ones we can.
