Checkers is a 10 lbs mixed breed dog that was saved from the streets of Tijuana. All we can guess about her breed is that she's a terrier mix of some sort, and probably around 3-4 years old.

This petite gal is SUPER sweet and really loves to be around her person. She's quite content in the arms or the lap of her person, truly defining what it means to be a "velcro dog". Checkers is not very interested in the resident GSD in her foster home, so would likely do just fine as an only dog... and lap up all the attention! She has not been exposed to cats or children, that we are aware of.

Checkers would be a very good little friend for someone who wants a dog to cuddle and carry around and has the time to dote on her and give her regular companionship.
