When you first meet this cat, you’ll find very quickly that Polka is a sweetie pie! She loves a good early morning cuddle session and will definitely let you know when she wants some attention! This little kitty loves to be on your lap or shoulder. Polka loves to make biscuits on you or the blanket and will try to nuzzle with you when she is next to you on the couch or in bed at night. Polka may be the shy-er of the two, but once her sister shows her that someone new is okay, she follows her lead. She loves cardboard scratchers, small puff toys, and wand toys.
With her sister, Dot, she doesn’t jump on counters and is well-behaved for having all their kitten energy. They love to snuggle but don’t need constant attention.
We are planning to place Polka and Dot together in their forever home since they have been together their whole lives and would hate to separate them.

CCR adopts to forever homes in Chicago or the very near suburbs that are within 10 miles of our Chicago foster families. We love our cats and we pledge support for the rest of their lives, which is why our location limits are in place. We appreciate your understanding. At Chicago Cat Rescue, we are dedicated to both the physical and emotional well-being of the cats and kittens in our care. For this reason, unless expressly stated, we do not place cats or kittens in homes where they will be the only cat. Generally, cats love the company of other cats, and can become quite lonely when living alone.
Kittens will only be placed in pairs, or to join another kitten or young cat in your home.
Chicago Cat Rescue is an entirely foster-based organization. Our ability to help more cats in need is dependent on our availability of foster homes.
