This long, tall drink of water loves to have a good time and would like to share it with you. He is young in spirit as well as in age and has the potential to mature into a lovely, playful, active companion.

Klaus was raised from puppyhood in a home, but surrendered to a shelter when his owner realized they could not care for him in the way he deserved. He tested well with toys and talents and we thought he would be a wonderful candidate for the search and rescue work we train for...but...as it turns out...he would rather play for a bit, get some pets for a bit, play some more, get some more pets, and so on. Our loss is always someone else's lucky gain!

He's got a big personality to go with his size, but luckily it weighs in on the sweet and charming side of things. He is still a baby boy in many ways and will need some mentoring, but his basic package is so nicely put together, that with a little bit of attention, he could be a true prince.

Klaus likes to do everything. He likes to be part of the action! He loves to play with toys, go on walks, train and learn and meet new people. He's done well in our dog-dog play groups even with some of our ruder players. Some of the words that our staff have used to describe him: funny, silly, smart, goofball, fun-loving, sweet, and affectionate. Overall, a really cool guy!
