My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING FOR AN INDEPENDENT RESCUER- we are not responsible for anything regarding these kittens and make no guarantees of health, vetting, temperament, etc. .

Meet Mango, a classic orange tabby, polydactyl kitten with a mellow personality. Life didn’t start out too well for him until he was rescued with his siblings Mocha, Cashew, and Chai. These abandoned kittens were all scared, dirty, and dehydrated but otherwise healthy. After lots of TLC and vet care, Mango has become so curious about his environment he likes sitting on the highest rung of the cat tree and scoping out what toy or kitten he wants to engage with.
Mango has the personality of a gentle giant; if he wants your attention when you are petting another kitten he will reach over and put his head right in your hand as if to say, what about me? He isn’t as rough and tumble as his brother Cashew as he plays more gently with toys. However, he when goes so crazy for the fishing pole he will perform all sorts of acrobatics to grab it, even if it means landing on this back. He is also totally entranced by the tower of tracks and racetrack as he chases the balls around these as quickly as he possibly can. And his large mittens enable him to play a very competitive game of ping-pong When Mango settles down he loves his head rubbed and will reposition himself to receive a nice tummy rub. He really realizes the value of being cuddled and will purr loudly in appreciation.
Mango will become a lap cat in the near future as he loves snuggling next to you on the couch. He will adjust well in a moderately active home with adopters that will give him lots of TLC and attention, and it would be ideal if he had a kitten playmate about his own age (possibly one of his siblings?) He gets along well with cats and kittens but has never been exposed to dogs or small children. He will provide your family with companionship and entertainment for a long time.
This kitten was born on ~ 4/1/23 and has all appropriate vaccines, been tested for feline leukemia, is neutered, dewormed, and microchipped. For more information, text Janet, his foster mom, at 916-791-6387
