Our sweet Bandit was a rescue as a kitten. My son found him on side of a garage while at a party where the resident used to put out water and food for strays.
We brought him home and caged him in living room so he could get familiar with us and the other pets. He developed a loving relationship with us and our dogs. He still rubs up against our pup Sebastian.
Now we are moving to Idaho and feel it would be too stressful for him. He is getting up in age and we want someone who can keep him safe as he ages. He is about 10 years old.
He loves butt pats. The harder the better. He does a funny thing when he drinks water. He skates on floor with his front feet then drinks. He also likes sitting on top of my office chair when I'm on the computer.
Bandit is a true survivor. Not only as an abandoned kitten, but in his life he has been hit by a car and survived with surgery, and he overcame an allergic reaction while staying with family temporarily. He picks on the hair on his belly so he is without some of his belly hair. Not sure why. Vets thought maybe just nervous condition.
He will take some time to warm up to his new owners but will eventually do so. Would do better as the only cat in the household.
