My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lilac is a beautiful solid black one year old female. She is friendly and affectionate. Lilac is spayed, negative for FIV and leukemia, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped. Poor Lilac was dumped in Peeler Park in Madison several weeks ago, along with her sister, Spicy, and all of their kittens. She needs a home without other pets or children. Her adoption fee is $105. Lilac's only kitten, Solo, will be ready for adoption in early August. They do not have to stay together.

Their adoption process

1.
Interview

You will be required to answer the screening questions before an appointment can be scheduled.

2.
Meet the Pet

Once approved you can either meet the cat at PetSmart or in the foster home if not ready to go yet.

3.
Take the Pet Home

The adoption forms will be filled out in person and payment is by cash or check. Medical records will be provided.

Additional adoption info

For cats, adoption application and contract is required. Indoor homes only. Our cat adoption fee is $50 for senior cats and some special needs. The adoption fee for young adults and kittens is $105 if not microchipped and $125 if microchipped. All cats are tested for FIV and leukemia, administered all shots medically appropriate, spayed and neutered, deworming, flea prevention and any other necessary medical care.

We do not work with dogs.

Out of state adoptions are allowed in some situations as long as you can come and pick up your new cat.

By appointment only. Email or text to schedule. We only have appointment availability on Saturday or Sunday in foster homes. We do have cats available at the Madison PetSmart every day. We are a foster home based rescue so all of our cats are not at the same location. This is why we need to know which cat you are interested in.

We are a small 501c3 certified cat-only rescue located in Madison, TN, dedicated to helping cats with special needs find homes with people who love them for the special joy they bring to our lives. We also foster some cats without special needs to help bring in money for the vet care on our special needs pets.
