My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Mya and I am 15 years old. I was found in a burning building when I was a kitten, and given a safe home with a loving family. Unfortunately, they had to relocate to another state to live with a sick relative who's allergic to cats, so they were forced to give me up. That made me very sad and at first, I hid in my foster's home, but I quickly bounced back, eager to begin my next chapter. The vet says I'm as healthy as a 5-year-old and I enjoy play-time (toys I can catch on a string and ones filled with lots of catnip are my favs), and I'll be right by your side whenever you sit down, ready for some serious cuddling. I'm a big talker and am not a fussy eater, though I do prefer wet food that's mushed up a bit. I'm afraid of other cats so I need to be your "one and only" so I can get all your attention!
