Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lilah is a wonderful dog in the making. She was taken from a shelter where she had been shaved completely and had a bloody tail. She came from a puppy mill where she was likely in a small cage all her life. She has been introduced to stairs, grass, leash walking and scheduled feedings. She has learned several commands such as sit, down, no, touch and heel.
However, there are things she still struggles with because of the abuse she suffered from for over a year. She was doing well with house training but has had recent accidents. She is still fearful of loud noises and new people. She is scared of many things and trust takes a long time to gain. However with the right person she can shine. She is very food/treat motivated so training is very easy. She loves consistency. She adapts quicker with repetition. She is very smart and learns commands quickly. She loves affection, running, walking, and playing.
