My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**JILLY HAS BEEN ADOPTED!** This adorable, sweet, silly face outfitted with a pair of outrageously cute ears belongs to Jilly, a 10-12-month-old, 40-pound mixed-breed pup searching for a forever family. Jilly was rescued from an overburdened animal control facility in rural Kentucky and is now in a loving and nurturing foster home in Chicago, patiently waiting to meet you! Without a DNA test, we cannot say with certainty what her breed mix is, but judging by her appearance and characteristics, we think there is some Cattledog, Chow, Shepherd, and maybe even some Corgi in her family tree. However, we can say with certainty that she is 100% sweetheart! Jilly is a well-adjusted, friendly, and easy-going gal who has never met a stranger. She considers all humans and dogs her best friends and is happiest in their company. She is a playful and fun-loving girl, without being hyper or excitable, but can also be content just curled up on the couch with her people. Jilly is quiet and well-behaved in the home. She is crate trained and does very well with her housebreaking when kept on a regular schedule. Jilly is an absolute gem of a dog, and we think she'll fit in easily with most households, come and meet her today!

Jill is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and started on monthly flea and heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee to the rescue is $375. This fee helps to cover the medical care to prepare her for adoption. Jilly is in a foster home on Chicago's northwest side and can be visited by appointment only after an adoption application has been completed and approved. Unfortunately, we cannot place holds on our dogs for any reason. Please do not submit an adoption application unless you are ready to meet and welcome a dog into your home within three days of applying. For more information or to receive an application, email palsplace1@hotmail.com or visit palsplacerescue.org. Adoption applications and correspondence from the rescue may end up in your spam or junk folder. If you are waiting for our reply, please check those folders regularly.
