My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet sweet Finnegan (Finn) who recently arrived from Turkey. Finn is a 3 to 4 year old English Setter and approximately 55 pounds. Our rescuer found Finn at a filthy shelter in Turkey and gave Finn the chance to find a loving home in California. He is loving life as a true Cali boy!

Finn is a happy, goofy boy. He enjoys playful dogs and people. Finn currently lives with 3 other dogs and is having the time of his life! He loves going on walks and adventures and would love to be a hiking companion. Finn enjoys having a backyard and in true English Setter fashion he likes to patrol the yard looking for birds and squirrels. While he has lots of fun energy, Finn settles down nicely and loves to snuggle with his people.

Finn is walking well on leash with a front clip harness. He is also doing great with potty training in his foster home. Finn is smart and treat motivated so training him is easy. Finn is not a fan of cats! He will do best in an active home with at least one playful doggie companion.

If you think Finn would be a great addition to your family, please complete our adoption application. Questions can be directed to Danelle@roversretreat.org
Due to the high cost of international travel, Finn’s adoption fee is $800
