My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Memphis and Sunshine have been together for 8.5 years and their daddy passed away, leaving them having to wait in boarding for a new home.
They’ve always been home pets that were good inside and outside the house. They LOVE PEOPLE and are great with kids as well.
They need to stay together. Sunshine is 10.5 and great with other dogs, but Memphis has some issues with other dogs, so it’s best they are just the only pets.

We will cover their medical needs for life! We just want them to find a new family or single person or couple that will provide them as much love as these two give for the rest of their lives. They’re both in good health. Sunshine doesn’t jump in the car as well as she used to and is on meds for that. And she has a couple fatty tumors. But nothing is stopping her from running around and playing and acting silly as usual.
Memphis is in excellent health!

Sunny Day Acres was founded by Jennifer Gray. She is a trainer with 29 years experience. She specializes in taking in homeless, abandoned, and mistreated dogs, training them, and getting them ready for homes. In addition to our rescue efforts for the dogs, Sunny Day Acres has a farm animal sanctuary of other animals for adoption, and also offers boarding, and training classes in behavior/socialization, obedience, agility, search & rescue, and private lessons as well!
