Please read the bio in full for answers to your questions. In the event you have a question that is not covered in the bio, please email info@seniordoghaven.org. If interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application which can be found at https://seniordoghaven.org/adoption-process/.
Please note that because all of our dogs live in foster homes, we are unable to set up meetings with a dog unless we have a completed adoption application on file. Adoptions must be about an hour of Wilmington, DE in order for our volunteers to be able to conduct an in person home visit.
Meet Tully!
Tully is a 9-year-old, 10 lb chihuahua who was found as a stray and brought to an overcrowded shelter. Even though he didn’t take up much room, there wasn’t room for him, so we quickly brought Tully into one of our loving, foster homes.
Tully is on the younger side for one of our senior puppies. He is very healthy and has no special needs. Tully is fully vaccinated and microchipped, he received a dental, and had a few non-cancerous lumps removed. He is 95% potty trained. Tully is a very calm dog and does great with dogs of all sizes. He prefers older, calm dogs over puppies and does wonderful with older children. Tully would be fine without a fenced-in yard and he loves going on walks. He also loves car rides and would be a wonderful companion for road trips! Tully is very mobile and can easily do stairs and jump onto the couch to find the best napping spots. He loves being cuddled and sleeps next to his foster mom’s bed.
Tully adores his people, and if you are looking for your next lap warmer, then he is the one for you.
This smiley ray of sunshine needs a forever home. Do you have room in yours?
