Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please read the bio in full for answers to your questions. In the event you have a question that is not covered in the bio, please email info@seniordoghaven.org. If interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application which can be found at https://seniordoghaven.org/adoption-process/.
Please note that because all of our dogs live in foster homes, we are unable to set up meetings with a dog unless we have a completed adoption application on file. Adoptions must be about an hour of Wilmington, DE in order for our volunteers to be able to conduct an in person home visit.
Meet Frisky!
Frisky is a 13-year-old Bichon Frise who came into our care when his owner had to move into a long-term medical facility. This sweet dog has great vision, hearing and mobility, and it’s obvious how well-loved he was.
Frisky received all his senior bloodwork, had a dental, and was microchipped. He was found to have a heart murmur, and an ultrasound revealed some “old man” leaky valves which just require twice daily medication. The cost for this is around $50 a month. Frisky gets along wonderfully with cats, children, and dogs of all shapes and sizes. He is a very mellow pup and pretty much goes with the flow. Frisky does fine with stairs and is fully potty-trained.
Frisky is a sweet, loving, companion dog and all he wants is a forever home and a forever lap to snuggle in. Can you make room in yours?
