My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

wagoninn.rescuegroups.org

Brian is a beautiful lab mix puppy who is looking for a new family! Brian is with our partner rescue in Louisiana but hoping to come to NJ on our next transport. We offer a foster-to-adopt trial for dogs with our partner rescue in Louisiana.

Brian and his siblings were found as strays as young pups and as you can imagine, it has affected their socialization. They were not familiar with human care or living in a home but their foster has helped them become more trusting and social. These pups will need lots of love, patience and continued TLC in their new homes. A confident, well socialized dog companion can really aide in their training. They may always be timid with new people but with lots of love and some time and effort, they will do great! Brian is the most timid pup and would benefit from a foster with just one or two other dogs who can focus on his socialization.

Brian is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. His adoption fee is $550.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training  prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.

More about this rescue

Wag On Inn Rescue, A NJ recognized 501(C)3 organization, located in Freehold, NJ, is a small group of dedicated volunteers, trying to rehome dogs and cats. We have a variety of animals looking for their forever home. The animals are worked with individually to be socialized with other animals and with people. Some of the dogs are obedience trained and housebroken. Special care is also taken in working with animals on basic house manners. We have two types of ways we help the animals. One is our rescue program, where we pull animals from shelters and they stay with us until adopted, we also have a "referal program" where we help owners of pets try to find them new homes. with this program, the pets stay with their owners until a new home is found, and adopted from the owner.
